EpiRen - Epidemiology 2.0

My name is Rene, and I am an Epidemiologist at a state health department. I graduated from the George Washington University with a master's degree in Public Health and Epidemiology. I am also a Medical Technologist, having graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology.

This site is dedicated to inform my colleagues (and the general public) on the use of emerging technologies to treat and prevent emerging public health problems. I believe that the internet and web-based applications have the ability to help address public health problems (in one way or another). Information, after all, is key in solving so many of the World's problems.
